The Friendly City Books Podcast

Author Interview - Greg Marshall

Episode Summary

Caroline chats with author Greg Marshall about his must-read memoir, Leg: The Story of a Limb and the Boy Who Grew From It!

Episode Notes

Greg Marshall was raised in Salt Lake City and currently lives in Texas. A National Endowment for the Arts Fellow in Prose, he is a graduate of the Michener Center for Writers. His work has appeared in The Best American Essays and been supported by MacDowell and the Corporation of Yaddo.

His memoir, Leg: The Story of a Limb and the Boy Who Grew From It (bookshop.org)(libro.fm) is a hilarious and poignant personal story that grapples with family, disability, and coming of age in two closets—as a gay man and as a man living with cerebral palsy.
